Membership terms and rules at My Yoga Room
General – These general terms apply to the agreement between Yoga på Limhamn AB (hereafter referred to as My Yoga Room) and the Member (the individual the agreement concerns). The Member is entitled to participate in training in accordance with these terms. These terms apply indefinitely. My Yoga Room reserves the right to amend the terms, with any changes communicated to the Member as per clause 12 at least 30 days before they come into effect. In addition to these general terms, specific conditions may apply to certain services or offers.
Member – You become a member by purchasing one of our passes. The minimum age to purchase a pass is 18 years. For those under 18, a guardian must sign the agreement on their behalf. Our memberships are available as rolling monthly subscriptions with one month's notice or as fixed-term contracts of 3, 6, or 12 months. Fixed-term memberships end as specified. Termination of rolling monthly passes must be done by email. We also offer punch cards, valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Monthly passes are personal, while punch cards can be transferred.
Yoga (group classes) – Group classes grant the right to attend all sessions on the regular group class schedule offered by My Yoga Room. However, My Yoga Room cannot guarantee a place at every session; availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment terms and missed payments – Memberships can be paid via Swish/credit card online or on-site, or by invoice with 10 days' payment terms. The same price applies during the contract period for monthly passes. Paid fees are non-refundable. If a Member fails to pay according to the agreed terms, My Yoga Room reserves the right to suspend the Member's access by blocking their training card until payment is made. Late payments incur interest, reminder fees, and any applicable administrative charges, after which the matter will be handed over to debt collection. In case of non-payment, My Yoga Room reserves the right to invoice the Member for the remaining balance of the current contract period.
Cancellation policy – Group classes must be cancelled at least 90 minutes before the scheduled time. For missed sessions or late cancellations, My Yoga Room will automatically charge a fee of 75 SEK. If the Member does not pay this fee, their membership will be blocked and booking privileges suspended. For Courses/Workshops/Events, payment is due upon booking and registration is binding. Places can be transferred but are non-refundable unless you have booked and paid for FLEX. FLEX allows cancellation up to 48 hours before the start with a refund of the standard course/workshop/event fee. Any additional fees beyond the standard price (workshops 50 SEK, courses 100 SEK) are non-refundable. Corporate bookings/room hire prices are agreed individually with cancellations required 48 hours prior to the booking.
Freezing membership – Freezing a 12-month pass/membership is permitted once per year, for a maximum of 3 months and a minimum of 1 month, with a 200 SEK administration fee. Freezing other memberships requires a medical certificate and is only allowed in cases of injury, illness, or pregnancy, with a maximum of 6 months and a minimum of 1 month. All frozen memberships are extended by the length of the freeze period. Term passes, summer passes, and Christmas passes cannot be frozen as they are tied to specific periods.
Liability and disclaimer – All training is at your own risk. My Yoga Room is not responsible for personal injury caused by accidents or as a result of actions or omissions by other members or guests. Each Member is responsible for ensuring their health condition allows them to participate safely in the activities they choose. My Yoga Room accepts no liability for loss due to theft, burglary, or other causes, nor for damage to Members' or guests' belongings.
Changes to opening hours and offerings – My Yoga Room reserves the right to make changes to opening hours, schedules, training times, premises, and equipment, which may result in limitations to the services offered.
Photos and video – During training sessions or events, My Yoga Room may take photographs or record videos. Such images and videos may be used on social media, the website, newsletters, and other marketing materials. By participating in training and events, Members consent to the use of photo and video material for these purposes. If a Member does not wish to be included, they should inform the yoga teacher before the session or event.
Messages and information – Members will receive notifications of changes to membership terms, price adjustments, changes to opening hours, and offerings via the email provided to My Yoga Room. It is the Member's responsibility to update contact and payment information. Members will also receive newsletters and various benefits related to their membership via email, push notifications, website, and social media.
Privacy policy – Personal data of Members is handled solely by My Yoga Room and, where necessary, by data processors — companies that enable My Yoga Room to provide its services. A data processor is a company that processes personal data on behalf of My Yoga Room and according to its instructions.
Force majeure – My Yoga Room is not responsible for interruptions to training opportunities caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as water damage, fire damage, or other damage to the facility, strikes, lockouts, natural disasters, or government decisions.
