Booking terms and conditions for Yoga Retreats

Booking – By registering for a yoga retreat or yoga trip, you agree to the following booking terms and conditions. General – These general terms apply to agreements between Yoga på Limhamn AB (hereafter referred to as My Yoga Room) and the Participant (the person to whom this agreement applies).

Payment – Payment is made by invoice unless otherwise stated, according to the payment date specified in your booking confirmation or invoice. For trips and retreats, a registration fee is charged to secure your place. The registration fee is non-refundable. Yoga retreats must be fully paid at least 30 days prior to departure. If booking less than 30 days before a retreat, the full amount must be paid immediately.

Cancellations, right of withdrawal and refunds – When you register for a yoga retreat or trip, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of registration, not from the date of payment. If you book less than 30 days before the start of an event, you do not have a right of withdrawal. Full charges apply in case of absence. The registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days. After 14 days from registration, bookings are binding and no refunds will be made. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another participant; this is your responsibility. In cases of sudden illness, please contact info@myyogaroom.se to check for a waiting list, though this cannot be guaranteed. Please note that no exceptions are made to the refund policy. By registering, you accept these terms and agree to pay according to the booking terms and the invoice received.

Cancelled events – If an event or yoga trip you have registered for and paid is cancelled, you will receive a full refund except for the registration fee.

Photos and video – During training sessions or events, My Yoga Room may take photographs or record videos. These images and videos may be used on social media, the website, newsletters, and other marketing materials. By participating in training and events, you consent to the use of photo and video material for these purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform the yoga instructor before the session or event.

Liability and disclaimer – All training and yoga activities are undertaken at your own risk. My Yoga Room is not liable for personal injury caused by accidents or as a result of actions or omissions by other members or guests. Each participant is responsible for ensuring their health condition allows them to safely take part in the activities chosen.

Insurance – For yoga trips and retreats, it is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate travel insurance, which is always recommended. Travel cancellation cover is often included in home insurance policies, but this is your responsibility to arrange.

Privacy policy – Participant personal data is handled only by My Yoga Room and, where necessary, by data processors who enable My Yoga Room to provide services. A data processor is a company that processes personal data on behalf of My Yoga Room and under its instructions.

Force majeure – My Yoga Room is not responsible for interruptions to yoga retreats caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as water damage, fire, damage to facilities, strikes, lockouts, natural disasters or official decisions.

Travel guarantee in case of insolvency – We have arranged a travel guarantee with Kammarkollegiet. This means that participants may be entitled to compensation if their trip is cancelled or interrupted due to insolvency.
